I don't think you can see it that well from my horrible picture, but Gregory Porter's name and the elaborate decorations on that cross were etched in. Yeah, some bumpkin in Malta Bend, MO actually found a use for that wood burning kit I got when I was 9 from my house-arrested, unemployed, methed-out uncle.

In all modesty though, the scars I gave my brother and the neighbor's cat with mine were pretty ornate too.
