 Anthony Bruno & Ryan Stokes

This rotting stuffed animal covered tree is memorializing 2 people who died seperately, neither
of them in a car wreck and neither of them within 5 miles of that location. Hey, when you have
30 shitty stuffed animals and 2 dead friends, any tree is a good tree for teddy bear bukkake.
Actually, that pile of decaying polyester is less a memorial to the victims than a good old
fashioned "Fuck You" to the police who were responsible for both deaths. And by responsible,
I obviously don't mean legally. How the fuck could the cops be legally responsible for
shooting unarmed civilians? In what world do you live? Jesus Christ, one of the victims was
black and shot in the back--you are going to try and tell me with a straight face that cops
should get anything other than paid administrative leave for that? Nigger, please.
Both Ryan Stokes and Anthony Bruno were gunned down by the heroes in blue in 2013. The
story of Stokes' death is uber-hackneyed: Black
20-something, no record, in bar district at midnight, cops looking for phone thief, order
Stokes to the ground, thinks he has a gun, shoots him. Oops, no gun. Read
the story if you want, you'll just be pissed.
On the other hand, read
Bruno's story and you will be entertained.
Bruno was drunk white asshole firefighter who ran into a sober white asshole cop. It starts
when Bruno skipped out on a cab fare, cop working security at hotel goes all Dirty Harry and
chases him down--breaking a lot of cop rules in the process, physically confronts Bruno, cop
starts getting his ass kicked because Bruno had no idea who he was, during fight cop pulls out
gun and shoots Bruno dead.
Individually both are sad stories. Taken together however, I find it refreshing that the
fine officers in Kansas City don't see race when it comes to shooting unarmed civilians.
